V is for...............................
My gorgeous zippy pocket-rocket VW Polo is what's referred to, here in Oz, a Euro-diesel. It's a whole new generation of high-tech. diesel vehicles that are classy and SO-O much fun to drive. They run on the smell of an oily rag and ooze that special VW vibe! Just a shame that diesel prices here have spiralled more out of control than unleaded, and nobody except diesel drivers seems to care a fig!

Nice photos and choice for this weeks letter.
I think this is the first time I've seen you here. Good to "meet" you! Love your car! I think I'll check it out and see if they market it here in Canada. Come on over to see what I've done for today! :D
That does look like a fun car! Love the color, the setting, the whole thing!
Looks like a fun car. I think we're all feeling the fuel pinch!!
I love your car! What a great V! Nice shot of you as well!
It is a nice looking car, and efficient too. I empathise with you about the cost of diesel. I have a car running on gas. Gas is cheaper but nowhere as efficient; catch 22.
Nice to meet you CabaC! Very nice car too dear.
Thanks for dropping by my site! You have a great car!
Fuel prices have certainly unified bloggers around the globe. Lot of cars to day but haven't seen or heard of yours before. NIce persoanl choice.
wow...nice close up.
to answer ur question. NOPE, I don't have any X pics yet. Hmmm....i have to think since now, it's difficult one hi hi hi
Shalom Caba Curl. Glad you have visited the earthly and the virtual Jerusalem.
I'm always glad to see a blog from NSW. Your car really is sweet.
If I ever needed to buy a car, that VW would be on the list.
nice V post...
Mine in here at My Imaginary site. Thanks
Cute car... Brave soul...
And yeah, they do sort of smell like an oily rag (I drove a Mercedes Diesel years ago)...
And I can't figure out why diesel fuel has gone above the price of gas -- someone was trying to tell me that it required a better grade of crude oil to make, but I still don't understand it...
Phew! Agree about the cost of diesel! Hubby has a diesel pick up. Last time he filled the tank it cost £82!
Welcome aboard!
Hope you enjoy the day!
We have a VW car too...but it is a Pasat:) Never thought of take a picture of that. In fact I'm not so found of our car.. Means a lot of trouble:(
But you look happy and that is great:)
Petunia's ABC
Hi Cabacurl - nice to see your face and your cute car!!!
Fuel prices are very scary aren't they?? Will be forced to paddle my outrigger into town soon!!!
Yes...X is sorted! LOL!
Excellent V choice and a nice looking car. Farfegnugen. :)
It's a cute little car. Have fun with it.
Hi Caba! Sorry for having taken so long to get back here again. Another hectic week…
Polo drivers are said to be dangerous (an old saying here), so we'd better take care... ;)))
Great post on 1916; wonderful dewdrop pictures; and beautiful jewellery! Did you sell?
Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter, still in Santiago de Compostela, now inside the Cathedral… Hope you enjoy, and have a nice weekend!
Wow... no more 4WD... but a lovely car.
I think society is coming full circle as the petrol prices increase. In the past, governments went all out to centralise public services, in the name of saving money. Remember all the small country schools that closed and the kids who had to get on a bus and travel miles to the central/town school? As the fuel crisis escalates we may have to reinstate some of those local services.
What a great photo!
I'd like to find a way to run a car on grass clippings, because overgrown grass is one thing we have plenty of in our yard.
