LIFE'S A CIRCUS!

On 24th June, I wrote a little comment called "Life's A Balancing Act" ( just scroll back a few posts). Honour who has a wonderfully thoughtful blog here, wrote a pithy comment that her friend whose 2nd language is English, prefers to say "life is a circus".

.....and I'm loving that! Life really is a circus when you think about it!

So, if that's the case, what's your act in the circus of life, if I'm the balancing act?

The high diving act above is performed by either my brother-in-law or my nephew, at Manning Gorge in the Kimberley area of Western Australia.

Although I'm unable to leave a photo on your blog, I think I'd have to be the dog trainer.

The way I usually express it is "life is a zoo"...   My cat and I frequently trade off duties as zoo-keeper...

"Life's an act of love" - that's what it is for me. I don't mean lust; I mean thoughtful and meaningful caring. There are so many types of love in my life: love of children, love of parent, love of siblings, love of dear friends, unrequited love (the sweetest love of all), love of cats, love of growing things.

Life for me, is an act of love.

Life is a circus, and I got stuck riding the circus train with the clowns.

I'm the clown. Funny-faced but crying inside. (No, not really!) Well, funny-faced ...

lovely shot. and I LOVE your question - I never even thought about that. What would my act be? I think I'd like to be one of those ladies who hang from a big ribbon at the top of the circus and dangle and do fancy things that make the crowd ooh and ahh. Not because I feel like I'm amazing or anything - but because there's no tools or anything fancy -- just a person and a big piece of cloth - and that's like life! sometimes you just make do with what you have ... thanks for making reference to my blog :)))

Goodness gracious, I think I AM the whole circus.

Although if I must pick, I'm the scenery painter and the person who plays with colorful ribbons.
