NEW JEWELLERY

It's been positively ages since I showed off some of my recent pieces of jewellery. Above is the resin and lampwork necklace I was asked to make for a friend. I made a similar one for my sister's birthday.

Below, is a mother of pearl and Swarovski crystal necklace, with some earrings.

AND...saved my favourite to last. This is one I made for me, using resin, semi-precious fluorite, freshwater pearls ,Thai silver and a beautiful shell.

I'm really going to have to bite the bullet and start to try and sell some of my jewllery. I really enjoy the process of creating, especially the decision-making...colours, type/combination of beads, symmetrical/ pattern or not, but if I don't attempt to sell it, there really is no point except that it's sending me broke !! Just a bit lacking in confidence in 'pushing'...hmmm...not really the best word...my jewellery on to others.

These are beautiful pieces! Handmade jewelry seems to be growing in popularity. I would love to know the process of how you go about creating these.

PS - Thank you for visiting my blog!

Very nice, go out and shout about this skill of yours, tell people that they need it. I hope you do get the confidance to start selling.

First of all, I love Jules' name for her jewellery! With your creativity you could come up with something great yourself.
Next, I love your favourite piece, but also the mother of pearl with Swarovski crystals, they are just beautiful.
You'd probably do really well if you had a stall at a local market day, especially with Christmas coming along very soon.

They are stunning CabaC! You are so talented and they will sell really well. I suggest taking some samples to the most exclusive dress shop in Noosa and offer to supply them exclusively to them. Good luck!

Wonderful pieces!
Was thinking that there was probably room for Beethoven's Piano nr.5 Emperor in the list, and when pushed the link, there it was: Nr. 1! Amazing!
Have a great weekend!

Beautiful work!

I can relate to both the comments you make, about enjoying the creative process so much and... about finding it hard to get inot selling - that's a whole different kettle of fish, isn't it?

Very beautiful jewels. I wish I were as clever as you were with pearls.

I am silly. I wanted to add that I wondered where you were. You have not written in a long time. But I clicked on the wrong key.....
