Trying Something New

One of the Seven Deadly Sins is ENVY and yes, OK, I'll own up to it here, for all to see. I am so-o envious of those clever clogs of bloggers who are able to include links to other sites in their text.
I have tried before and just made a mess of it. BUT...today's the day to try again.... and if I've succeeded, you will be able to click on 'Seven Deadly Sins' above, in the pink writing, and go to the Wikipedia entry. Go on...please give it a try.

YES!!! It works!

Now , my reason for persevering this wet Sunday morning, is because I wanted to put in a link to this fabulous panorama picture, which follows up my Apollo 11 post.

Congratulations on figuring out how to do links....it took me awhile as I am not computer literate really . ...but the new blogger made it easier...still can't figure out how they get links in the comment part but what the heck! love your blog. Thanks for visiting.

Well done - I found it hard too at first. It is hard for people my age who were born in the era of the old wireless that took 5 minutes to warm up, no television and a computer was something you needed a doctorate to work and filled a room the size of a football field!!!!

By the way - the moon link is simple stunning!! I will bookmark that and keep it to show my daughters.

Congrats on the links! I can't do them in the coments box yet, either.
Looking at your Apollo post - I was sitting about 2 feet from the TV when they landed - the panorama is great - they used a Hasselblad, I think. Thanks for your visit to my site!

I think you and all your 'commentors' are amazing. I couldn't even contemplate the intricacies of having my own blog, so I'll just enjoy everybody else's!

Really it is easy to create links but difficult to explain it accurately as within a comment if you quote the code it gets turned into a false links which defeats the purpose. Once you know then it is simplicity itself.
For obvious reasons though, some comment boxes don't allow linking or use a proprietary code.

Your comment on my blog made me laugh :-)) (it is almost politically incorrect)
