This is the Old Bundy Tavern on the corner of Quay and Tantitha Streets, opposite the Burnett River. The original pub, the Customs House Hotel, was built in 1870, but destroyed by fire in 1915. A new pub was built in 1917 and was called the Hotel Bundaberg. The photo below is of the function room ( date unknown).
The name was changed to the Old Bundy Tavern in 1991.

Thanks for calling in at my blog, yours looks good. The old pubs look really smart, far too many are knocked down in England these days, I guess not so many people drink out as its expensive and since the start of the smoking ban, I believe that the pub trade is worse than ever.

It looks fantastic - such character. I've never been to Bundaberg but these photos may inspire a visit one of these days.
I like older hotels. They have a good feeling to them.
I like those hotels, bars, etc.... They are so beautiful and so different from ours.
The hotel seems like a nice place to stay in. The building is very well-kept and good in shape.
