The Three of Us, 1985 - 2007

My two special friends in the photo above are Veronica, on the left, and Tricia, on the right. We first met in a pub in London, in early February 1985, when we were Australian exchange teachers with the League For Exchange of Commonwealth Teachers. The three of us quickly became great friends and did many amazing and memorable things that year. Even though they both live in Queensland, our friendship has remained precious to the three of us, and we try to get together at least once a year.

Below is the three of us, in a photo taken in Jerusalem, in April, '85.

Hello again Cabacurl,
How wonderful to still be in touch with special friends. I also cherish friendships I have made in the past and hope that my blog reaches a few of them. Living in another state feels very distant at times but I have been contacted by a number of people who read what I have to say even if they don't comment.
I love your creative work and hope to 'show' some of mine soon.

It's so important to keep in touch with valued friends and I think it's wonderful that the three of you keep in touch. I'm sure when you get together, it's as though you saw each other only yesterday!

You bet,

I made friends with a couple from Minneapolis in 1990, while travelling to the outer barrier reef; and today we are still in daily or weekly contact. These friends are wonderful and I can feel the close relationship that you have with these 2 women.
